The Parish in Caithness is that of St. Joachim and St. Anne.

St. Anne's church is located in Thurso, Caithness, Scotland, UK.

St. Joachim's church is located in Wick, Caithness, Scotland, UK.


The Parish is the most northern on the UK mainland and is part of the geographically large Diocese of Aberdeen.


The Diocese of Aberdeen, in communion with the Apostolic See, was established in 1131 and after the Reformation was restored in 1878. It covers the area of Grampian, the main part of the Highland Region and the Islands of Orkney and Shetland. The Cathedral is St. Mary`s, Huntly Street, Aberdeen.

The main Mass services are at 1830 hrs on Saturdays and 0900 hrs on Sundays in St. Anne's;
1100 hrs on Sundays in St. Joachim's.

A Communion service is also celebrated in Talmine, near Tongue once a month at 1600 hrs on the last Sunday.
